Amos draws inspiration from the clean integration of manmade and natural features to create seamless, sustainable spaces. He appreciates how sustainable spaces have the potential to lead the design industry to better shape our world, whether it be through a green roof or an intricately-detailed river walk. Some of his recent projects include East River Park, Phase I-IV of the Red Hook Recreational Area, and New Dorp High School.
Prior to becoming a landscape designer in 2016, Amos gained a comprehensive understanding for the built environment by working as a Construction Assistant for several years in his home state, Texas. Outside of the office, Amos enjoys woodworking and reading about artists whose work extends across multiple realms of the design world. His latest DIY project included designing and building custom furniture for his bedroom and kitchen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
