Aleena Cheriyan
Landscape Design Intern

Aleena is a senior at Rutgers University New Brunswick studying landscape architecture with minors in Architectural Studies and Green Technologies aspiring to hold licenses for both architecture and landscape architecture. Passionate about sustainable design and its impact on the built environment, she gained valuable insight studying abroad in Spain, where she learned to design with people and culture in mind.
At ABB, she hopes to deepen her understanding of landscape architecture in dense urban settings like New York City. Aleena brings strong skills in 3D modeling, drafting, and attention to detail. She is active in Rutgers' ASLA chapter, having served as Treasurer and now serving as Vice President, and is working toward dual licensure in landscape architecture and architecture. Outside of work, she enjoys driving to the beach in her Mustang convertible, photography, and cracking jokes.
