Our design solutions emerge from a site’s underlying potential. ­­ABB’s design approach embraces the people, policies, economies, hydrologies, and ecologies that shape a place. Our work solves challenging technical site issues artfully and playfully by integrating landscape, architecture, and engineering knowledge with sculptural and spatial sensibility.

 

Whether we work with a shoreline, an estuary, on native terrain or rock outcroppings, abandoned pier structures, industrial settings, manicured campuses, or bold cityscapes, we aim to capture and illuminate ­the particular qualities of places by carefully siting interventions and framing strategic views to and from the surrounding context.
