John joined ABB in 1981, and brings over forty years of professional experience to his oversight of all aspects of design development, document production, project coordination, and administration. Named Partner in 1987, he has since led teams on large-scale projects such as Riverbank State Park, Hudson River Park, and Greenpoint Public Park. Since 2007, he has delivered over $250 million in capital construction projects under NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and NYC School Construction Authority contracts.
A nationally-recognized expert in sports facility design, and well-respected for his site engineering and technical design resolution, John leads design and planning projects at all scales and across all sectors. He is an active member of the American Sports Builders Association, a charter member and former member of the Synthetic Turf Council advisory board, and a Mayor Bloomberg appointee to the Local Law 19 Committee that reviewed proposed new surfacing materials for NYC parks. John is a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of New York.
