ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY | DASILVA MEMORIAL FIELD + 400-METER TRACK

ABB’s 400-meter, eight-lane track for the University, completed in Fall of 2013 and designed to NCAA and International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) standards, accommodates field events such as high jump, long and triple jump, pole vault, steeplechase as well as throwing events, like shot, hammer, and discus. The new IAAF-certified track represents a significant asset that revitalized the university’s recruiting program.

When St. John’s Athletic Department broke ground to install a new 77,000 SF synthetic turf field for DaSilva Memorial Field in July 2016 ABB expedited design, bid documentation, and construction administration services to ensure project completion prior to the commencement of school and Red Storm lacrosse team practices.
